Jurassic Park III Review
I watched the last film in the Jurassic Park Trilogy, directed by Steven Spielberg, in German. Dr. Grant returns and we see him as an unsuccessful researcher trying to convince the world that velociraptors are smarter and more organised than anyone ever estimated. His previous experience with Jurassic Park is the only reason people attend his lectures. One day he is contacted by Mr. Kirk and Mrs. Kirk who are a rich couple looking for a special anniversary. They bribe Allen Grant into taking them on an arial tour of Zone B, a new island inhabited by the usual dinosaurs plus some new ones. Only when they are in the air and around the island they land, despite the protesting Dr. Grant. A giant new dinosaur never before seen in previous Jurassic Parks, attacks them and they are left stranded on the island, their plane wrecked.
I liked this movie and compared to some movies where sequels are made because of the immediate success of the first film, this trilogy is very good. The actors play very well, and although there is action and dinosaurs, there is still room for some humor.
The purpose of the movie would be to show what people are ready to do to help the ones they love. They would be ready to take risks and lie to others. Another theme would be that you don’t truly know how much you love someone until they are gone, or you think they are gone. I suppose it would also show the amount of destruction that would happen should a scientist create something that has never shared the world with mankind: dinosaurs.
